China New Energy Chamber of Commerce (CNECC) was officially established on January 13, 2006, in Beijing, with the mission of Encouraging the sustainable development of the national economy and making a contribution to the building of a harmonious socialist society. Originally established by Farsighted Group and various other enterprises in the renewable energy field, China New Energy Chamber of Commerce now has more than 400 members and is growing faster every year. The Chamber remains true to its original role as a non-profit organization made up of enterprises, groups and individuals involved in the new energy and related industries and now includes members from the fields of solar energy, wind power, hydropower, biomass energy, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project development, fuel cell research & development, and energy information consulting. Li Hejun, President of Farsighted Group and Chairman of the Directorate, was elected as the first Chairman of China New Energy Chamber of Commerce.
The EU-China CDM Facilitation Project aims to strengthen the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) as a central pillar within China’s path to sustainable development. The project lasts three years from February 2007 to January 2010. Through a series of activities including policy research, capacity building and training programmes, the project will focus on China’s policy and regulatory regime for CDM development and will provide policy recommendations to CDM policy-makers in Europe and China. It brings together a wide range of stakeholders at public and private sector levels involved in CDM projects.

The EU-China CDM Facilitation Project is being implemented by Chinese and European partners and associates with grants from the European Commission and is the largest European-funded project addressing CDM-related activities with the total financial contribution of EUR 2.8 million.

IEEPA focuses on and researches the global green industry economy and is specialized in global industry promotion of a green economy for developing countries, especially for the Chinese market. Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA)

Since its establishment, Chinese Renewable Energy Industry Association (CREIA) has been serving as a window bringing together national and international project developers and investors; a bridge between regulatory authorities and the industry; and a network for enterprises, drawing together renewable energy experts on research and development, production and sales, professionals and entrepreneurs to accelerate the development of Chinese renewable energy. As an industrial association, CREIA has succeeded in attracting over 100 corporate members and about 160 individual members covering all the subsectors of renewable energy in China.
Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Partnership

REEEP is an active, global public-private partnership which is facilitating the development of appropriate market conditions for the accelerated uptake of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. REEEP’s work is focussed on the establishment of policy and regulatory frameworks and financing mechanisms in developing countries and economies in transition.
The Centre for Energy Environment Resources Development (CEERD) conducts Training, Research and Consultancy in the field of energy-environment in the framework of international cooperation projects, with a focus on the ASEAN and the GMS.

As a natural evolution of the Centre, CEERD is carrying out more and more projects with the private sector, notably in the fields of Sustainable development, Energy efficiency and CDM projects. CEERD is at present the South East Asian partner from the EU funded project “SETatWork” (www.setatwork.eu) linking Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency in manufacturing and Carbon Markets.
Japan for Sustainability (JFS), established in 2002, is a non-profit organization providing information on developments and activities in Japan that lead toward sustainability.
The GHG Management Institute is a nonprofit organization focused on training and education. The Institute was founded by GHG Experts Network and ClimateCHECk, in partnership with World Resources Institute, Carbon Disclosure Project and Govida Elearning. Its mission is to train and develop a community of experts with the highest standards of professional practice in measuring, accounting, and managing greenhouse gas emissions. Independent Power Producers Forum The IPPF (Independent Power Producers Forum) is a non-profit industry support organization mandated by its members to work toward best practices in the Power Generation industry.  Our geographic focus includes all developing nations across the Asia / Pacific region as well as the more developed economies of North East Asia.   We work toward a level playing field, transparency, rule of law and a better overall investment environment in Asia as related to the IPP industry. The IPPF interacts with like-minded international bodies and institutions, supports and works with appropriate educational institutions and leading academics.  The IPPF drives the development of industry guidelines, white papers, position statements and appropriate policy research.  While our focus is on Asia, we maintain growing relationships with multi-laterals and industry decision-makers in North America and Europe.
